B.2.3 The Camera Screen

Resolution [DPI] This field allows setting the desired resolution in two ways.
Selecting the resolution: Click the selection arrow beside the right field. Select the
desired value from the list.
Entering the resolution: Enter any value between 150 dpi and 1200 dpi into the left
field. Confirm the input with the ENTER key or the TAB key
on the PC keyboard.
If the entered resolution differs from the values offered in
the list, user defined is displayed in the right field.
Brightness [%] This slider allows setting the brightness of the resulting image. Lower
brightness values make the image darker.
Contrast [%] This slider allows setting the contrast of the resulting image. Higher
contrast values show more details. If scanning in binary modes (i.e.
Line Art or Photo), the behavior of the contrast slider changes.
Image Sharpness This slider invokes an advanced algorithm which sharpens the image
according to the local content of a given area.
