The Pro-Stcher® quilng system integrates Janome’s quilng machines with the best computer technology
for computer-guided quilng using digital designs. The soware is managed from a state-of-the-art tablet
computer that is conveniently mounted on top of the machine. This rich and full-featured soware is easy
to learn and makes precise quilng simple and fun!
Using the Pro-Stcher Tablet on Your Janome QMP 20
When you add Pro-Stcher to your QMP 20, the Pro-Stcher tablet computer replaces the front touch-
screen display. The QMP 20 display is integrated into the Pro-Stcher tablet computer. The QMP 20
soware works the same as it did on the 7" display. However, when also using Pro-Stcher, the Pro-Stcher
soware somemes overrides some of the QMP 20 sengs. For more informaon about how Pro-Stcher
works with the QMP 20, see the Pro-Stcher user manual.
First turn on the QMP 20, then turn on the Pro-Stcher tablet computer. Both the Pro-Stcher soware
and the QMP 20 applicaon console start up.
 NOTE: Aer the QMP 20 applicaon console starts, it works the same as if you were running it from
the smaller touch-screen display, as described in the Using the Touch-Screen Displays and Toolbar
Opons secons of the manual.
While the QMP 20 and Pro-Stcher are running, a menu appears in the upper le corner of the screen.
Touch a buon on this menu to switch between using Pro-Stcher, using the QMP 20 console, and using
Pro-Stcher Designer. You can also open the on-screen keyboard, or close the menu from view.

Use Pro-Stcher to quilt, or switch to free-moon quilng by disengaging the Pro-Stcher gears.
(In Pro-Stcher, select Pro Stcher tab, then Gears buon to disengage the gears.)
