User Manual QUILT MAKER PRO 20
Reset-bobbin: The number on this buon shows an esmate of how much
thread remains on the bobbin. This number updates as you quilt. As the number
gets closer to zero, the bobbin is running out of thread. Press the reset buon
aer a bobbin change if you are using the low-bobbin alarm. This resets the
low-bobbin reading to indicate you are using a full bobbin. For more informaon
about the low-bobbin sengs, see To add a new bobbin conguraon and
record bobbin capacity in the Toolbar Opons secon of this manual.
IMPORTANT: Touch this buon only to reset the bobbin capacity to
indicate a full bobbin. If you want to open the Low Bobbin Alarm screen,
select the Machine Sengs toolbar buon and then select the
Low Bobbin Alarm screen.
To use the on-screen hand wheel
The on-screen hand wheel enables you to rotate the hand wheel from the Main
screen rather than reaching around the machine to do it manually.
Drag your nger down from the top of the on-screen hand wheel (in the
direcon of the arrows) to cycle the needle bar and the presser bar.
NOTE: You can, if necessary, move your nger in an upward moon to
turn the hand wheel in the opposite direcon. You’ll typically do this only
when you need to break a thread lock.
Stching Modes
The QMP 20 enables you to choose between two modes of stch regulaon Cruise or Precision; or to
choose manual stching. It also includes a basng mode.
Manual Stching Mode
When using the manual stching mode, the length of the stch is determined by how quickly or slowly
you move the machine, in combinaon with the number of stches per minute (up to 2500) that you
have selected. For a consistent stch length, you will need to move the machine at a consistent speed.
Experiment with dierent combinaons of quilng speed and stches per minute to nd what opmally
works for you.
