5-4. Operating the sewing recorder
(1) Sewing recorder screen No. 1
The sewing recorder screen consists of two different screens; i.e., the screen No. 1 on which the sewing
speed and the thread trimming timing are continuously measured and displayed as a line graph and the
screen No. 2 on which the sewing machine operation rate/average sewing speed are displayed and setting
of the graph display on the screen No. 1 carried out.
On the sewing recorder screen No. 1, the operator's sewing performance is displayed by means of the line
graph showing the sewing speed and the time. Based on the graph, the sewing skill level check and training
of the sewing machine operator can be carried out. Two different data can be indicated on the graph as data
No. 1 and data No. 2. This means that the target operator's data can be shown together with data on a highly
skilled operator's work or the data on his/her work in the past for the purpose of comparison. The comparison
through visualization enables easy analysis of complicated and hard-to-understand sewing machine opera-
tion.
