4.6 Electronic Removal (Touchtronic/Novotronic)
1. Fascia panel removal (Section 100-4.1).
Note:
If the dishwasher has a slanted fascia, the door outer panel must also be
removed; see Section 030-4.3.
2. Remove the screws from the sides of the door inner panel.
3. Remove the middle screw from the top of the door inner panel.
4. Tilt the mounting bracket to the front.
Note:
If the dishwasher has a furniture front, take care to insert a towel or similar
between its top edge and the fascia to prevent scratching.
5. Disconnect all plugs.
6. Use a small screwdriver to press in all the retaining lugs (6) securing the
electronic to the holding plate (bottom first, then top).
7. Remove the electronic.
Note:
Only the complete electronic can be replaced.
Note:
Take care with the following during reassembly:
 The fascia must be installed before the switch buttons.
 Ensure that the switch buttons are installed correctly. The bottom is
recessed.
