4.6 Cleaning procedure of CO
2
water heater gas cooler
Foreign matter, and scaling could build up inside the gas cooler of the unit in which CO
2
depods depend on water quality. If it becomes too thick, it could effect flow rate and heating capacity. COP could drop or
unstables control could also lead mismatch of hot water outlet temperature compared to the target temperature.
It is recommended to inspect operation data regularly, and wash the gas cooler as follows when dectercoraton of the mentioned
performance due to scaling is detected.

Necessary tools
Features: Food additive-base. Lowly corrosive to aluminum, SUS and copper materials. Safe to human body.
3) Liquid waste vessel (Total recommendation: 100 L, 15 L × 6 times (Washing/neutralization)
4) pH meter or pH test paper
5) P rotective equipment (P rotective glasses, gloves, mask)
7) Hose attachment kit (P CM008A020) × 1 set
8) O ring (P CM925C002A) × 3 pcs, drain valve (P CM483D001) × 2 pcs.
