2. Getting Started/Basic Operations
Attaching the Lens Cap/Shoulder Strap
When the camera is not in use, attach the lens cap to protect the lens.
We recommend attaching the lens cap to the camera using the lens cap string to prevent loss
of the lens cap.
Attach the shoulder strap when using the camera to prevent it from dropping.

Use the lens cap string (supplied) to attach the lens cap to the
camera.
A: Make sure that the thicker portion of the string is not hanging over the lens cap
or the shoulder strap eyelet.

Attach the lens cap.
To attach and remove the lens cap, press the areas
shown by arrows in the illustration.

