Between MIN and MAX lines
4. It is recommended that a burnishing procedure be
performed after installation of new brake pads to
extend service life and reduce noise. Start
machine and slowly increase speed to 30 mph.
Gradually apply brakes to stop machine. Repeat
procedure 10 times.

AL/INSPECTION
1. Clean caliper area before removal.
Remove inner
and outer
brake lines
2. Using a wrench, remove left hand brake (outer)
and right hand brake (inner) lines. Place a
container to catch brake fluid draining from brake
lines.
3. Remove the caliper and pads from the caliper .

4. Remove Allen head screw and separate caliper
halves and remove pistons with piston pliers.
5. Remove O-rings and clean O-ring grooves.
6. Clean disc, caliper body, and pistons with brake
cleaner or alcohol.
7. Remove square-rings. Clean square-ring grooves.
8. Clean disc, caliper body, and piston with brake
cleaner or alcohol.
9. Inspect caliper piston bores for scratches, severe
corrosion, or galling and replace if necessary.
