3 Slide the POWER switch until the
CAMERA-TAPE lamp lights up.
_EP_ Slide the POWER
switch while
pressing the green
button.
4 Press EASY.
The EASY lights up in blue.
Easy Handycam

Press REC START/STOP.
Recording starts. [REC] 3ppears on the
LCD screen ond 1he Camera recording lamp
lights up. Press REC START/STOP 3gain
to slop recording.
Toturnthe poweroff
1 Slide the POWER switch up to the OFF
(CHG) position.
2 Set the LENS COVER switch to CLOSE.
To cancel Easy Handycam operation
Press EASY again.

During Easy Handycam operation, the following
buttons are not available.
LCD BACKLIGBT(p. 2g)
BACK LIG!tT(p. 37)
During Easy 1tandycam operation,_be settings ofthe
functions that are nol displayed on _he screen return
to their det:ault s. Previously made settings are
reslored when you cancel Easy Bm_dycam
operagon.
Set the LENS COVER switch to
OPEN.
Open the LCD panel.
Slide the POWER switch repeatedly
until the CAMERA-MEMORY lamp
lights up.
[_'_11 C4_IEP_ Slide the POWER
switch while pressing
the green button.

4 Press EASY.
The EASY lights up in blue.
Press and hold PHOTO lightly.
You will hear a light beeping sound when
lhe focus and brightness settings are
adjusted. Recording does not start at this
point.
