You can select items listed below on the
MEMORY SET menu. To select items, see
"Selecting menu items" (p. 62).
The default selrings are marked with t>. The
indicalors in parenlheses appear when the
setting is selected. The settings you can adiust
vary depending on _l_e power mode of your
camcorder. The screen shows the items you can
currently operale. Unavailable items will be
grayed out.

For DCR-HC40:
You can record several still images one after another. The number of images you
can record changes with |he image size and space available on |he "Memory Stick
Duo" you are using.
1 Select [NORMAL l or [EXP. BRKTGI, and then touch [0_].
DOFF Select when not recording continuously.
NORMAL(Q) Select m record from 4 (1152 × 864 image size) to 13 (640 x 480
image size) images continuously at approximately 0.5-second
intervals.
EXP. BRKTG Select to record 3 images consecutively with different exposures
( Ill( ) at approximately 0.5-second intervals. You can compare the 3
images and select an image recorded in the best exposure.

Press PHOTO fully.
in the [NORMAL] setting, lhe maximum number of images are recorded as
long as you are pressing PHOTO fully.
Notes
• The flash (oplional) will no1 function while you are recording images continuously.
• The maximmn number of images will be recorded in the sell-timer mode or when you are
operating wifl/the Remote Commander.
• [EXP. BRKTG] will no_ function when you have space tbr t_:wer than 3 images remaining
m/the "Memory Stick Duo."
• When it is hard to see _he di f_crence between the images recorded in [EXP. BRKTG] mode
on the LCD screen, connect your camcorder to your TV or a compuler.
