Press PHOTO fully.
A shutter sound is heard. When bars of
lllll _ disappear, the image is recorded on
_he "Memory Stick Duo."
To turnthe power off
1 Slide the POWER switch up to the OFF
(CHG) position.
2 Set the LENS COVER switch to CLOSE.
To cancel Easy Handycam operation
Press EASY again.
O Notes
You cannot turn Easy H_ndycam operation on or off
during recording.
During Easy Handycam operation, the following
buttons arc not available.
- LCD BACKLIGHT(p. 20)
- BACK LIGHT(p. 37)
During Easy l]andycam operation, the settings of_he
functions that are no_ displayed on _he screen return
to their dethults. Previously made settings are
reslored when you cancel the Easy [[_ndycam
operation.
Touch IMENUI.
]'he available menu items are displayed on
the screen.
Example: Inthe CAMERA-MEMORYmode
Touch the desired item.
3 Select the desired setting.

1 Set [Y] (year) wi_h [:_/[:_, then touch
2 Set [M] (month), [D] (day), hour and
minules in fl_e same way as [Y] (year),

For [LANGUAGE]
Selec_ the desired language wi_h [_/[:_,
lhen touch [0_]-
For [BEEP]

For [SELF-TIMER] (in the CAMERA-
MEMORY mode only)
Touch [ON], _hen [_. Touch [_.
Press PHOTO fully.
You will hear a beep sound counting down
for about 10 seconds. When the bars of
Illlll _] disappear, the image is recorded on
lhe "Memory Stick Duo."
