• When using the Super NightShol plus or Color Slow
Shul_er function, the shutter speed of your
camcorder changes depending on the brightness.
The motion of_he picture may slow down at this
time.
• Adjust tile focus manually when it is hard to focus
automatically.
• Do no_ cover the infrared port with your fingers or
other objecls. Remove the conversion lens (optional)
if it is attached.
• Depending on lhe shooting conditions or
circumstances, colors may not be reproduced
properly.
'_" Tip
• If you record subjects in complete darkness, setting
]NS LIGHT] to [ON] in the menu selling is
recommended. The maximum shooting distance
using lhe NightShot Light is abom 3 m (!0 |_et).
(The default setting is [ON].)
If you record subjects in dark places (such as night
scene or in momdight), set INS LIGHT] m [OFF] in
the menu seCting. You can make image color deeper
(p. hT).
Adjustingthe focus
The focus is adjusted automatically in the
default setting,
You can select and adjust the focal point to
aim it at a subject not located in the center of
the screen.
Touch _ during recording or in
the standby mode.
Touch [SPOT FOCUS].
if the item is not displayed on |he screen,
touch [_/[:_. If you cannol find it, louch
[MENU], and select it fi'om 1he _?
(CAMERA SET) menu.
3 Touch the subject for which you want
to adjust the focus on the screen.
[SPOT FOCUS] flashes while the camera is
adjusting d_e focus. _ appears.
