c. Hook up the test
-signal source:
Connect the signal output of the generator to a power splitter. Connect
one output of t
he power splitter to Ch 1 as shown in the following
figure. Connect the other output of the power splitter to the Aux Input
as in the following figure.

2. Confirm the trigger system is within sensitivity limits (50 MHz):
a. Displ
ay the test signal:
Set the generator frequen cy to 50 MHz.
From the button bar, touch Measure.
Touch Setup Ref Levs;thentouchtheMin-Max button.
Touch the Setup button and select the Ampl tab; then touch the
Amplitude button.
Touch the X (close) button.
Press Push-Set 50%.
