This read-block function returns several elements of manufacturing-related pack information in the default
mode. It is also used to return a variety of other data and can provide measured voltage, current, and
temperature data for calibration purposes in CALIBRATION mode. See Section 17.2,
ManufacturerAccess(), for more details on these options.
