4.8.1 Removing and installing headlight range
control unit -J431-
Caution
♦ Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers.
♦ Remove the ignition key.
Removing
– Remove the side dash panel cover on front passenger side ⇒
General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr. 68 .
– Unscrew bolt -arrow-.
– Remove headlight range control unit -J431- -1- from installa‐
tion position taking connected wire length into account.
