Chapter 3
Configuring communication protocols
If you are planning on connecting to the Ethernet or optical Ethernet port, contact your network
administrator to confirm network settings and check port availability. Ethernet ports (SCADA and
optical) can be configured either as DHCP clients or with static IP addresses.
You access your system via a web browser. The CoreSense M10 software supports the latest versions of
commonly used web browsers. Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge are strongly recommended.
NOTICE
Do not use the Service port. The Service port shall only be used by authorized service
personnel.
Any unauthorized modification to the settings of this port may render your system
unusable.
To access these settings, click Publication settings from the Settings page. The Publication settings
page allows you to configure the various communication protocols.
