Steps
1. Align the screw hole on the LED board with the screw hole on the palm-rest assembly.
2. Replace the (M2x3) screw to secure the LED board to the palm-rest assembly.
3. Adhere the mylar above the LED board to keep it in place.
4. Align the screw hole on the left battery frame with the screw hole on the palm-rest assembly.
5. Replace the two (M2x3) screws to secure the left battery frame to the palm-rest assembly.
6. Route the LED-board cable and connect the cable to the connector on the system board.

1. Install the 3-cell battery or 4-cell battery.
2. Install the base cover.

3. Remove the 3-cell battery or 4-cell battery.
4. Remove the speakers.

For models with smart card reader configuration, the smart card reader is preinstalled in the replacement palm-rest
assembly.
