Steps
1. Place the battery on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly and align the screw holes on the battery with the screw holes on
the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
2. Tighten the three captive screws to secure the battery in place.
3. Connect the battery cable to the system board.

3. Remove the 3-cell battery or 4-cell battery.
NOTE:
If battery is disconnected from system board for service, then there is a delay during system boot as the system
undergoes RTC battery reset.
