Installing the palm-rest
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.

Steps
Place the palm-rest assembly on a flat surface.

NOTE:
The system board can be installed with the heat sink attached in order to simplify the procedure and preserve the
thermal bond between the system board and heat sink.
1. Install the SIM card slot filler (for non-WWAN configuration).
2. Install the display assembly (laptop) or display assembly (2-in-1).
3. Install the speakers.
4. Install the smart card reader (optional).
5. Install the power button or power button with optional fingerprint reader.
6. Install the system board.
7. Install the fan.
8. Install the M.2 2280 SSD card or M.2 2230 SSD card.
9. Install the WWAN card (optional).
