Rotation is clockwise when seen from drive end.
Minimum speed with no load.......................4000 rpm
Current consumption (draw) at no load:
Maximum with solenoid at 11.5 volt ............120 amps
(1) Torque for bolts that hold starting motor
together ......................7 to 12 NIm (63 to 80 lbIin)
(2) Torque for M8 thread battery
terminal.........................6 to 8 NIm (54 to 72 lbIin)
(3) Torque for M5 thread switch
terminal.........................2 to 3 NIm (18 to 27 lbIin)
Torque for bolts (not shown) that fasten the starting
motor to the flywheel housing
...........................................35 L 7 NIm (26 L 5 lbIft)
Remove & Install Electric Starting
Motor
1. Position the lift truck on stands for access
underneath.
2. Disconnect the battery.
3. Disconnect wire (1), wire (2) and wire (3) from the
electric starting motor.
4. Remove two bolts (4). Remove starter (5).
NOTE : For the installation of the electric starting
motor, reverse the removal steps.
