7.6.5 Checking Manual Operation
The manual operating levers are protected against accidental ope-
ration by a locking plate.
• Loosen the locking bolts (1) one full turn and push the locking
plate (2) down and to the left.
• Carry out one closing operation and one opening operation using
the manual operating levers. The circuit breaker will immediately
carry out the corresponding operation.
• Push the locking plate up and to the right, and tighten the two
locking bolts again.
Manual operation bypasses any circuit breaker interlock system.
Therefore:
- Make sure that the gas pressure in the circuit breaker cor-
responds at least to the UW2 value before beginning ma-
nual operation.
