13. Perform the functional checkout and visual inspection procedures.

Replacing the Top Cover Assembly
1. Disconnect the system from AC power.
2. Remove the battery assembly as described in “Replacing the Battery
Assembly” on page 4-7
3. Remove the six screws from the bottom of the device.
4. Turn the unit right side up.
5. Press the printer button.
6. Open the printer door.
