Choke Knob Friction
(Manual choke type)
MAINTENANCE
CHOKE KNOB
FRICTION ADJUSTING NUT

RUBBER COVER
If the choke knob returns to the OFF
position by itself, you can adjust the
friction that holds the knob in the ON
position.
To adjust the friction, squeeze the
rubber cover to grip the adjusting nut
and turn it clockwise to increase the
friction. Do not force the adjusting
nut. If it is too hard to turn by hand,
contact an authorized Honda
Outboard Motor dealer for assistance.
