FRONT WHEEL/BRAKE/SUSPENSION/STEERING
FRONT WHEEL
REMOVAL
A contaminated brake drum Or shoe reduces
stopp ing power. Discard eontam/nated shoes and
clean a contaminated drum with a high quality
brake degreaslng agent.
Support the mot orc vcle securely using a safety
stand or a hoist .
Re
mov e the bolt and front brake cable gu ide Irom
the le ft fo r~ slider.
DisconnecT the fronT bra ke cab le.
Remove the a ~ le nUl, axle and front wh ee l.
Remove the side co liar f rom the right whfl el hub .
INSPECTION
A~I",
Set the ,ucle in V-blOCk and measu re the runout.
Actual .u nout is 1/2 the tot al lndicator reading.
SERVICE LIMIT: 0.20 mm (0.008 InJ
