Remove the oil seal stopper ring and oil seaL
INSPECTION
Fork spring
Measure the fork spring free leng th .

score marks, and excessive or abnormal we ar.
Check the for k piston ring for wear or damage.
Check the rebound spring for fat i gue or damage.
Replace the components if necessary.
Place the for k tube in V-bloc ks a nd measure the
.u nout.
