OIL SEAL REPLACEMENT
(XR100 ONLY)
Remove the O-ring and oil seal from the stator base.
App ly grease to the new oil seal and a-ring, and
install them.
INSTALLATION
XRfOOR: Install the stator base and tighten tho three screws.
X R80R : II1$t311 the stator base and t<ght.en the two screws
IGNITION SWITCH (AFTER 2000)
INSPECTION
Oi sconn(!ctthe igni tion SWitch connectors .
Check tor continuity at the connectors at the i gnition
switch side.
There should be no continuity when Ihe ignition
switch is in the ·ON" position and continuity when
the ign i tion SWllch is in the "OFF" position.
REMOVAL/ INST ALLATION
Remove the fuel tank ipago 2- 31.
Di sconnect the ignition switc h connectors .
