3.11 System Check
System Check offers a diagnostic function for checking the matrix
configuration. The feature indicates suboptimal and faulty settings.
System Check is exclusively used for a confidence check and does not
make any active changes in the configuration.
You have the following option to access the menu:
The following configuration parts are checked:
Matrix Firmware
Extender Firmware
Multi-Screen Control
Ext Units
CPU Devices
CON Devices
User
System Configuration
Matrix Grid
The following notification levels can be shown:
System Check completed without any
abnormalities
System Check revealed abnormalities in the
configuration that point to incomplete parts of the
configuration, firmware differences, duplications
or unconnected extenders but without being
system critical
System Check revealed errors in the configuration
that can have both functional and system critical
influences on the system.
If the messages "WARNING" and "ERROR" are generated by the System
Check function, the respective problem will be described and a basic
guideline will be provided.
