however,
you
can overwrite old data with new data
as
described below.

1 Select the desired frequency and associated data
(Tone, CTCSS, DTSS, etc.) using the VFO or
Memory Recall.

CHANNEL
DISPLAY
FUNCTION
When this function
is
switched ON, the transceiver
selects Memory Recall and displays only a memory
channel number instead
of
a frequency. During
emergency drills
and
emergency communications, or
when participating
in
communications for important
events, channelized operations can increase operating
efficiency and maintain security of communications if
required.
