4OPERATING ELEMENTS
4.1Clutch lever
600006-10
The clutch lever is fitted on the left side of the handlebar.
The clutch is hydraulically operated and self-adjusting.
4.2Hand brake lever

The hand brake lever is located on the right side of the handlebar and operates the
front wheel brake.
4.3Short circuit button
600005-20
The short circuit button is fitted on the left side of the handlebar and has no func-
tion upon delivery.
4.4Ignition switch
600044-10
The ignition switch is located to the left of the indicator lamp on the instrument
support.
Possible states
Ignition off Ignition switch flipped up. In this position, the ignition circuit is
interrupted, a running engine stops, and a non-running engine will not start
Ignition on Ignition switch flipped down. In this position, the ignition circuit is
closed and the engine can be started.
4.5Electric starter button
600010-10
The electric starter button is fitted on the right side of the handlebar.
Possible states
Electric starter button in basic position.
Electric starter button pressed In this position, the electric starter is actuated.
