8.86Removing the oil filter x
Warning
Danger of scalding Engine oil and gear oil get very hot when the motocycle is driven.
– Wear suitable protective clothing and gloves. If you scald yourself, hold the affected area under cold water immediately.
Warning
Environmental hazard Problem materials cause environmental damage.
– Dispose of oil, grease, filters, fuel, cleaning substances, brake fluid, batteries, etc. according to regulations.
– Remove the front fuel tank. ( P. 55)
– Place a suitable container under the engine.

– Remove screws . Take off the oil filter cover with the O-ring.

– Pull the oil filter out of the engine housing.
Circlip pliers reverse (51012011000)
– Completely drain the engine oil.
– Thoroughly clean parts and sealing area.

– Disconnect the plug . Remove screws .
– Remove the oil filter cover with the O-ring.

– Pull the oil filter out of the engine housing.
– Completely drain the engine oil.
– Thoroughly clean parts and sealing area.
