4.35Steering lock

The steering lock  is fitted on the left of the steering head.
The steering lock is used to lock the steering. Steering, and therefore riding, is no
longer possible.
4.36Locking the steering

Danger of damage Danger of damage by the vehicle running away or falling over.
– Always place the vehicle on a firm and even surface.
– Park the motorcycle.
– Turn the handlebar as far as possible to the right.
– Insert the key in the steering lock, turn it to the left, press it in and turn it to the right. Remove the key.
Steering is no longer possible.

Never leave the key in the steering lock.
4.37Unlocking the steering
– Insert the key in the steering lock, turn it to the left, pull it out and turn it to the right. Remove the key.
You can now steer the bike again.

4.38Tool set

The tool set  is contained in the accessories box and can be stored in the compart-
ment beneath the additional lamps.
4.39Handrail
600009-10
There ios one handrail  attached at the left and one at the right (at the rear tank).
The handrail is used for shunting the motorcycle.
