The handwheel can be swung out to make settings.
Turn clockwise to increase the spring preload; turn counterclockwise to reduce
the spring preload.
9.14Bleeding the fork legs
– Jack up the vehicle on the center stand. ( p. 65)

– Remove bleeder screws briefly.
Any excess pressure escapes from the interior of the fork.
– Mount and tighten the bleeder screws.
