Lubricate the outside diameter of the bearing with Premium Gear Lubricant. Position the bearing in the gear housing. Seat the
bearing in the gear housing using a mandrel and a driver from the bearing removal and installation kit.

Forward Gear
1. Lubricate the forward gear bronze propeller shaft bearing and the roller bearing surface with Premium Gear Lubricant.
2. Place the forward gear with the shim (retained) into the forward bearing.
