7.3 Hierarchical Relationships
Of Basic Program Instructions
The following table identifies an 'inclusive
relationship'. This means the secondary program
construction is included within the complete
operating boundaries of the primary program
construction, e.g.:
4:Instruction combination is acceptable - for restrictions see appropriate note
7: Instruction combination is not allowed - bracketed number is the error code
l: Instruction combination is not recommended for use even though there is no operational
error
The combination of instructions with an 'inclusive relationship' is allowable. However please be
aware of the following exceptions:
1) MC-MCR and STL-RET constructions cannot be used within FOR-NEXT loops, P-SRET or
I-IRET subroutines.
2) Program flow may not be discontinued by using any of the following methods while inside
MC-MCR, FOR-NEXT, P-SRET, I-IRET program constructions, i.e. using interrupts (I),
IRET, SRET, FEND or the END instruction is not allowed.
