Description
Battery charging.
The battery
is
not
inserted correctly. Remove the battery and
reinsert it
into
the battery charger
so
that
the
battery
is
lying fiat.
• Charge the battery indoors
with
an
ambient
temperature
of
5°C
to
35°C (41°F
to
95
OF)
before
use.
• The battery
is
faulty. Unplug the charger immediately and stop
charging
the
battery. Bring the battery and charger
to
a Nikon-
authorized service representative for inspection.

3 Unplug the charger.

Notes on
AC
Power Supply
• To
power
the
camera continuously for extended periods,
use
the
AC
Adapter
EH-63
(available
separately from Nikon)
(M
116). Do
not
under
any circumstances,
use
another make or
model
of
AC
adapter. Failure
to
observe this precaution could result in overheating or
in
damage
to
the
camera.
• If you
are
using
the
COOLPIX
5610, the battery cannot be charged by inserting it
into
the camera
and connecting
the
AC
adapter. The
AC
adapter and the supplied
audio/video
cable or
U5B
cable
cannot be used at
the
same time.
