Image, sound, and movie files are stored in the camera's internal memory (approx.
45 MB) or on removable memory cards (available separately) (~ 116).
If a memory card is inserted in the camera, data are automaticallystoredon the
memory card and data recorded to the memorycard can be played back,
deleted, or transferred. Remove the memorycard
to store data in the internal
memory, orplayback, delete, ortransfer
data from the internal memory.
1 Confirm the power-on lamp and the monitor
are
off and open the battery-chamber/
memory card slot cover.
Be sure to turn off the camero before opening the battery-
chamber/memory card slot cover.

2 Insert the memory card.
Slide the memory card in correctly until it clicks into
place.
Close the battery-chamber/memory card slot cover.
~ Inserting Memory Cards
Inserting the memory card upside down or backwards
could damage the camera or the memory card. Make
sure
that the memory card is correctly oriented.
