The camera focuses on the subject

frame.
Use
a tripod for best
results.
Set
Vibration reduction

Off
when using a
tripod
to
stabilize
the
camera
during
shooting.
1 Use
the
rotary multi selector
to
choose

Panorama assist
in
the
scene
menu
and
press
the
® button
(~
35).
• The ([») icon
is
displayed
to
show the direction in which
pictures will be joined.
2 Use
the
rotary multi selector
to
choose
the
direction and press
the
® button.
• Select
how
pictures will be joined
together
in
the
completed panorama; right ([»), left
(]),
up
(6)
or
down
("7).
• The yellow panorama direction icon ([)[») will move
to
the direction pressed and
press
the ®
button
to
choose
the
direction. A
white
panorama direction icon ([») will be displayed
in
the
chosen direction.
• Apply flash
mode
(~
30),
self-timer
(~
32),
macro
mode
(~
33)
and exposure
compensation
(~
34)
settings
with
this step,
if
necessary.

Press
the

button
to
reselect the direction.
