6. Troubleshooting
For Mac OS X 10.3.9-10.4.11
1 Select [Utilities] from the [Move]
menu.
2 Click on the [Printer Setup Utility] tab.
3 Select the device you want to remove
and click [Delete].
4 Close the [Printer List] dialog box.
5 Uninstall the printer driver by using the
uninstaller.

Updating a Printer Driver
You can update printer drivers.
For Windows PCL Printer Driver
Note
● You must be logged in as an administrator to complete
this procedure.
● Restart the computer before you start removing a driver.
1 Click on [Start] and then select
[Devices and Printers].
2 Right-click the
Your Printer
icon and
select [Printing preferences].
If you have installed multiple printer drivers,
select the type of driver you want to update from
[Printer Properties].
3 Click [About] in the [Setup] tab.
4 Check the version information and then
click [X].
5 Delete the printer driver you want to
update.
Note
● Delete all the printer drivers of the same type (PCL,
PS, PCL, and XPS printer drivers) to ensure updating.
