Replacing the Battery Pack
C A U T I O N
n The battery pack is not charged when you first purchase it. Be sure to charge it before using for the first time. Charging starts auto-
matically when the AC adaptor is connected to the computer.
n Use only the specified battery pack with your computer.
n Make sure no foreign objects are under the computer.
n In sleep, do not remove/replace the battery pack. Otherwise your data will be lost and the computer may be damaged.
n The part number of the battery pack that can be used for the tablet and keyboard base is the same.
n Do not use without inserting battery pack/dummy battery.
n The battery pack of the keyboard base is not charged even if the AC adaptor is connected to the tablet. If the AC adaptor is connected
to the keyboard base, both the tablet battery and keyboard base battery can be charged.
n If the computer is wet, wipe them off and open the cover. Make sure to dry off the computer, replace/remove the battery pack.
Tablet
Before replacing or inserting the battery packof the tablet, detach from the keyboard base.
1. Turn over the computer and open the back cover.
Make sure no foreign objectsare under the computer.
Depending on the models, the shape of cover may differ.
1. Slide both latches to the arrow direction.
2. Remove the cover from the front side.
2. Remove/Insert the battery pack.
To remove
1. Slide the latch (B).
When the replacing the battery pack without turning off the computer, check the battery indicator (C).

2. Remove the battery pack (A).
