Making 2-sided Copies
This section describes how to make 2-sided copies by copying single-sided doc-
uments onto the front and back sides of each sheet.
The Type 2 model supports automatic duplex copying, and the Type 1 model
supports manual duplex copying.
Making 2-sided Copies Automatically (Type 2 model)
This section describes how to configure the machine to make 2-sided copies au-
tomatically. If you enable this function, the machine will copy single-sided doc-
uments onto the front and back sides of each sheet.
Important
❒ This function is only available when the original is set in the ADF, not when
it is set on the exposure glass.
❒ The paper size must be A4, Letter or Legal.
❒ The paper type must be thin, plain, recycled, color, preprinted or
prepunched.
There are two copy orientation options:
❖ Top to Top
•Portrait
•Landscape
