If you are using the camera for the first time, read this section.
Turn the camera off.

Press the POWER button.
Caution-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
• When turning the power on for the first time with a conversion lens attached, the
conversion lens type selection screen appears. Select [WIDE[DW-6]] or [TELE[TC-
1]], and then press the MENU/OK button. You cannot shoot without selecting a
conversion lens. (GP.189)
• After the camera is turned on, it may take longer for the camera to become ready for
shooting when using the flash than when not using the flash.
Auto power off-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
• If the camera goes unused for a set period of time, it automatically turns itself off to
save power. (Auto Power Off)
• The auto power off setting can be changed. (GP.206)
