The automatic data backup is loaded in the following cases:
1. New hardware components are identified when the software is started up again following
a hardware replacement, such as if the system CompactFlash card is operated in a
replacement PPU.
2. The automatic data backup is loaded following the installation of a software backup
(Page 47).
NOTICE
Loading the most recent data backup
If the manual data backup is more recent than the automatic data backup, then the manual
data backup is loaded instead of the automatically created data backup. The system only
attempts to load an existing manual data backup if no valid automatic data backup is available.
If this process also fails, then the "NCK default data" are loaded.
3.1.2 This is how you load the user data backup
Note
If this function is activated, the actual system data is replaced by the data backup.
