6.10.2 Programming Settings
General The motor start blocking function is only in effect and accessible if address
RI6WDUWV is set to (QDEOHG during configuration of protective functions. If the
function is not needed, then 'LVDEOHG is set. The function can be turned on or off un-
der address )&7.
Required Data Many of the variables needed to calculate the rotor temperature are supplied by the
motor manufacturer. Among these variables are the starting current, the nominal mo-
tor current, the maximum allowable starting time 767$570$; (address ), the
number of allowable starts from cold conditions, and the number of allowable starts
from warm conditions.
The starting current is entered at address ,6WDUW,027QRP, expressed as a
multiple of nominal motor current. In contrast, the nominal motor current is entered as
a secondary value, directly in amperes, at address ,02725120,1$/. The
number of warm starts allowed is entered at address 0$;:$5067$576 and
&2/'²:$50
