18. Positioning of stopper for needle at right position
1. Zigzag bight is determined by lifting amount between minimum diameter and
maximum diameter of cam, but it is needed to limit it so that cam follower C may not
turn over the maximum diameter.
2. While the machine is turned off, rotate motor pinion A clockwise until it touches
with stopper B and adjust the position of stopper B so that there may be a clearance
of 0.3 to 0.5 mm between the cam follower C and lift cam D using a thickness gauge
of 0.3 mm.
Clearance should be
0.3 to 0.5 mm
