24. Position of buttonhole sensor lever

Buttonholing method is pre-programmed to sew each step to complete the cycle. Start position of
each step is detected as shown below. When center contact of 2-point contact switch touches
with either side of conducting portions, signal is sent to main circuit and each step of buttonhole
is executed as programmed. If actual bartack stitch is largely off the bartack position indicated in
red on buttonhole foot, loosen the screw on the 2-point contact switch and adjust its timing so
that the center contact may touch with the right side of conducting portions. and adjust the
balance of two springs which hold the buttonhole lever at free position.
