N Disconnect throttle cable (17) from the lever (7).
N Remove the throttle rod (8).
N Turn lever (7) counterclockwise and pull it off.
N Disconnect ground wire blade receptacle (18).
N Take out the screws (15).
N Remove the ground tab (19).
N Remove the spacer flange (6) together with the
screws (16).
N Remove the gasket (5).
N If necessary, remove and replace impulse hose (1).
10.3 Assembling the Intake System
N Push the screws (16) into the spacer flange (6).
N Fit the ground tab (19).
N Push the screws (15) into the spacer flange (6).
N Fit the gasket (5).
N Position the spacer flange (6) on the cylinder.
N Insert and tighten down the screws (15).
N Fit sleeve of throttle cable (17) in recess in spacer
flange (6).
N Fit blade receptacle of ground wire (18) on ground tab
(19).
N Fit the lever (7).
N Attach throttle cable (17) to lever (7).
N Attach throttle rod (8) to lever (7).
N Fit a new gasket (9).
N Push the carburetor (10) into place.
N Push the impulse hose (1) onto the carburetor’s
connector.
N Attach the throttle rod (8) to the throttle lever (7).
N Push the hoses (3, 4) onto the carburetor’s
connectors.
N Fit the gasket (11).
N Push the hose (2) onto the connector on the filter
housing (12).
N Push the filter housing (12) into position.
