14.1 Tools, Servicing Aids
– Socket, T20x125 – 0812 542 2041
– Socket, T27x125 – 0812 542 2104
– Torque wrench – 5910 890 0302
– Torque wrench – 5910 890 0312
– Screwdriver, T20 – 5910 890 2301
– Screwdriver, T27x200 – 5910 890 2415
14.2 Removing the Muffler
N Remove the shroud, @ 4.2.
N Remove the rewind starter, @ 5.1.
N Take out the screws (6) and remove the cover (7).
N Take out the screws (3) and remove the muffler (2).
N Remove the gasket (1).
14.3 Installing the Muffler
N Push the screws (3) into the muffler.
N Fit the gasket (1) on the screws (3).
N Position the muffler (2) with gasket (1) against the
cylinder.
N Insert and tighten down the screws (3).
N Fit the cover (7) in position.
N Insert and tighten down the screws (6).
N Install the rewind starter, @ 5.7.
N Install the shroud, @ 4.5.
14.4 Removing the Spark Arresting Screen
N Remove the shroud, @ 4.2.
N Take out the screw (5).
N Pull out the spark arresting screen (4).
N Clean the spark arresting screen (4) or replace it if
damaged.
14.5 Installing the Spark Arresting Screen
N Push the spark arresting screen (4) into position.
N Insert and tighten down the screw (5).
N Install the shroud, @ 4.5.
