N Rotate the throttle shaft (43) and fit the throttle shutter
(45). The small hole in the throttle shutter (45) faces
the adjusting screws.
N Insert and tighten down the screw (27).
11.10 Choke Shaft with Lever
Removing
N Remove the screw (27) from the choke shutter (26)
and take out the shutter.
N Remove the choke knob (24), @ 11.4
N Remove the E-clip (21).
N Pull out the choke shaft (13).
N Remove the sealing ring (19), washer (18) and
spring (17).
N Remove the E-clip (15).
N Remove the lever (16).
Installing
N Fit the lever (16) on the choke shaft (20) and then the
E-clip (15).
N Push the spring (17) onto the choke shaft (20) so that
it is hooked onto the lever (16) (arrow).
N Push the washer (18) and sealing ring (19) onto the
choke shaft (20) and up to the spring (17).
N Fit the choke shaft (20) in the carburetor so that the
spring (17) engages the hole in the carburetor body
(arrow) and the lever (arrow).
N Fit the E-clip (21).
N Position the choke shutter (26) on the choke shaft
(13) so that the digit on the shutter is visible and at the
same side as the choke knob (24).
N Insert and tighten down the screw (27).
N Fit the choke knob (24), @ 11.4.
11.11 Accelerator Pump
Removing
N Remove the throttle shaft (43), @ 11.9.
N Use angled scriber to push out the strainer (39).
N Take out the pump piston (41) with sealing ring and
spring (40), and inspect for damage, replace if
necessary.
Installing
N Fit spring (40) and pump piston (41) with a new
sealing ring (38) in the bore.
N Push a new strainer (39) into the bore.
