MAINTENANCE
INSPECTING THE REFRIGERANT (GAS)
LEVEL (AC)
Warning
•Exposureoftheeyesorhandstothe
cooler’s refrigerant could result in
blindness or frostbite.
Never touch the refrigerant or loosen
the parts of the cooling circuit.
•Keepamesawayiftherefrigerantgas
is leaking.
•Thehigh-pressurepipesoftheair
conditioner can be very hot (80 to 120°C
or 176 to 248°F). Be careful not to burn
yourself.
The cooling capacity decreases if the
amount of refrigerant is insufficient.
Inspect the refrigerant level using the sight
glass (2) on the top of the receiver drier (1).
EVERY 250 HOURS
1. Open the engine hood.
2. Inspect the places for the conditions
below.

Inspect the refrigerant by watching the
flow of air bubbles through the sight glass
(2).

compressor’s high pressure pipe (1) and
low pressure pipe (2).
