3-15. Setting a Transparent Cover ON/OFF
When you use a transparent cover, select ON.
Default setting: OFF

Press the next or previous button on the option screen to display the screen
below.

When using a transparent cover, the sensor detecting the existence of paper on the
nipping station may not function. If you start binding operations without a cover on the
nipping station, glue will adhere to the nipping station. On the other hand, if you press
the test feed button when a cover is already on the nipping station, paper jam will occur.
Make sure that you check the existence of a cover on the nipping station during binding
operations using a transparent cover.
